Board a private boat at Namo Ghat — the modern, spacious ghat at the northern end of Varanasi, known for its giant Namaste-hands sculpture.
Namo Ghat, earlier known as Khidkiya Ghat, is a redeveloped ghat at the northern end of Varanasi's riverfront, close to Raj Ghat and the Malviya Bridge. Its wide steps, open spaces and the large Namaste-hands sculptures have made it one of the city's newest landmarks.
Because it sits at the northern end, a boat from Namo Ghat is the natural way to cover the full stretch of ghats — heading south past Panchganga, Manikarnika and Dashashwamedh all the way to Assi. The open space also makes boarding easier for families and elderly guests than the crowded central ghats.
Photograph the landmark Namaste hands from the river.
Ride the full riverfront from the north end to Assi Ghat.
Wide, modern steps — less crowded than the central ghats.
Reachable by car, close to Raj Ghat and Malviya Bridge.
Every boat is private — booked only for your group. Choose the boat that fits your group size and budget; we confirm availability at Namo Ghat for your date on WhatsApp.
